Love the perspective of a kid. Austin is "star student" this month (all 11 days haha) and had to complete a poster about him.
One of the areas was: "My favorite place is"
We got back from Seattle and Great Wolf Lodge a few weeks ago. He's been to the fair, Redwoods, Disneyland, camping trips, the beach etc. All great fun places.
His answer?
Home.
Just one word. I asked him why he chose home. He said "well where would I be without home? I can live without Seattle but not my home mom!"
So the next time the "wants and wishes" jump up in our face, that is something to remember!
